If you have not previously registered for Self Service Centre, you will you need your policy number (found on your Policy documents). Register now to make a claim
 
Already use Self Service Centre?

How to make a Car Insurance claim

Simply call SGIO on 133 233 with the following details:
  • Your registration number
  • Your SGIO car insurance policy number
  • The driver’s details (if someone else was driving your car)
  • The other driver’s details (if applicable)
  • A Police Incident Report number (if applicable)

 

What happens next

Claim Online (for accident, glass, weather claims including storm, hail & flood) via Self Service Centre.

Alternatively simply call SGIO Insurance on 133 233 with the following details:
  • Your registration number
  • Your SGIO car insurance policy number
  • The driver’s details (if someone else was driving your car)
  • The other driver’s details (if applicable)
  •  A Police Incident Report number (if applicable)

What happens after you make a claim?

If we accept your claim, then:

  You will receive an email with your claim number and be advised of the excess payable
  You can locate and choose a partner repairer in your area suitable to repair your type of car
  We can arrange for your car to be towed (if required) to a partner repairer where our trade qualified assessor can oversee the repair process
  We offer a lifetime guarantee on the workmanship of authorised repairs
  If you are registered for Self Centre, you will be able to track the progress of your claim online
