The top selling models of vehicle sold in Australia have been crash tested by Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP). The program is designed to give consumers an accurate guide to the level of occupant protection provided by different cars in serious front and side crashes.
ANCAP uses four crash tests - offset frontal, side impact, pedestrian and pole impact - to determine a star rating for a range of late model vehicles.
To find out more about the tests and view the latest ANCAP crash results, visit the ANCAP website.
