We place a great deal of importance on supporting our employees' community interest. We have developed a range of volunteering and workplace giving initiatives to support our employees to work with their local community.

Our employees participate in a variety of Australian Business and Community Network programs that aim to create positive social change through education.
Planet Ark National Tree Day
Planet Ark National Tree Day is our annual company-wide volunteering day. In 2007, around 600 of our people, their friends and families planted trees at official sites across Australia.
Workplace Giving
Our employees can donate to selected charities through Workplace Giving, and SGIO matches donations dollar for dollar.
Did you know?
Our employees are encouraged to take one day paid volunteering leave so they can participate in and contribute to their local community. Community organisations are welcome to submit volunteering opportunities to be added to our online database.
